Business Area Data is data that is specifically associated with objects contained within a given business area.
Business Area Data that is created within the DEFAULT business area is available for use by all objects within the tenancy.
Business Area Data is a foundational component for picklists and data verification and is somewhat akin to Data Domains which are collections of values that a data element may contain.
When creating Business Area Data, bulk data loads from CSV files are supported – only the first two columns are loaded via this method.
Business Area Data can also be leveraged for form entry picklists.
